ESF Positive Change gears up for third round of pre-entry courses; referrals open for 18 projects

Opportunity Sheffield has commissioned 18 pre-engagement projects through its ESF Positive Change Programme, part-funded by the European Social Fund via the Ambition and Pathways to Success projects.

The aims of these projects are to engage with the hardest-to-reach, motivate and inspire people who are at a distance from the labour market.

With the first two rounds of courses almost complete, providers are seeking referrals for March 2023. Anybody interested in signing up should contact providers directly – contact details can be found in the brochure below.

Eligibility is as follows:

  • Unemployed or economically inactive
  • 15-18 for Youth courses, 18+ for adult courses
  • Resident in Sheffield
  • Legally entitled to live and work in the UK
  • Not currently on ESF Pathways and not previously supported by the programme
