Disability Cost of Living Payment – update

Most people entitled to the £150 Disability Cost of Living Payment will have been paid automatically between 20 June and 4 July.

Customers can now report a missing payment if they think they should have had one of the following payments but cannot see it in their bank, building society or credit union account:

  • £301 Cost of Living Payment for a low-income benefit
  • £150 Disability Cost of Living Payment

We ask that customers do not report the same missing payment more than once. We will reply to their reports as soon as we can.

Move to Universal Credit – latest update

The managed migration of tax credit customers to Universal Credit (Move to UC) continued its expansion last month into Greater Manchester and Northeast Yorkshire & the Humber.

In July we will expand into Kent, North London, Durham & Tees Valley, and West Yorkshire. In August we will expand into Staffordshire & Derbyshire, West Scotland, and South London.

We continue to collaborate with key external stakeholders to develop and improve the move to UC Journey. Recently, following stakeholder feedback on help making a claim to UC, we added Help to Claim and Advice Local references to the Migration Notice and continue to test the effectiveness of the information contained within the Notice.

Customer focused train stations

Train operators have launched public and employee consultations on proposed changes to bring station staff closer to customers.

New, multi-skilled ‘customer help’ roles – which are already in place at many stations – will mean staff are able to help more customers across a whole range of needs, including helping those with accessibility needs. Find out more and have your say in the consultation
