Leaving on a Positive music course starts at Arundel Lane Studios

Referrals are now open for Leaving on a Positive — a creative intervention programme for young people aged 17–26 in Sheffield who are care-experienced, NEET, at risk of offending, or disengaged from education/employment.

Delivered from Arundel Lane Studios (Sheffield AP framework provider), the programme offers:

🎧 DJing & music production workshops
🤝 1:1 mentoring with lived experience
🧠 Sessions on identity, purpose and goal-setting
🚀 Support into education, training or employment pathways

All sessions are personally delivered by Jamie Ferguson, a DJ, music producer and mentor with lived experience — someone who’s walked the same path and built a career through creativity and resilience.

This is a fully funded provision under Sheffield City Council, with no cost to services or young people. To be eligible, participants must be 17–26 years old.
