Permanent position £19,000 Pro rata.
16 hours per week actual salary £6,162 (School term time)

My Life Project is a small urban arts and media company which specialises in working with and supporting the well being and educational progress of children and young people. This is achieved through various creative mediums.
We are looking for an individual to join our enthusiastic and vibrant team to undertake the role of Support Worker, working directly with Children and Young People as part of our Alternative Provision service.
Main duties will include:
- Supporting the development of students within group settings
- Supporting the development of students in 1-1 settings
- Planning, implementing and evaluating various educational programmes
- Supporting student well being
- Monitoring student progress
We are looking for someone who is approachable and has experience in working with students from Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Mainstream Schools, or supporting individuals in a similar setting. Applicants are desired to have a relevant qualification in Youth Work, Education and/or Training or be prepared to undertake training as part of the role. An arts background is desirable however not essential.

Appointment is subject to satisfactory references and completion of a DBS check. Salary scale depends on experience and training.
