Development Manager – Grade 9 x 1 post
An opportunity has arisen for a Development Manager to lead the high-profile skills Advance SCR project for Sheffield. The project is fundamental to the City Council’s offer to businesses to support economic growth through the provision of training and skills to increase productivity and progress the careers of the individuals who take part.
The post manages a team of employer engagement and skills specialists as well as other project staff. The core element we are looking for in this role is experience of the skills and funding system and business relationship management. Whilst the project has some discretionary skills funding, the key is to link business needs to training that is mainstream funded to enable sustained impact. Whilst the project is currently funded until December 2023, continuation funding is being sought
