ILE launches a redundancy support package across Yorkshire

Written by Interserve Learning & Employment

Interserve Learning & Employment (ILE) has launched a redundancy support
package to help people across Yorkshire who have been made jobless during the
COVID-19 pandemic.

The free package on offer for unemployed people includes help writing CVs, learning
how to find a new job, access to training and support including maths and English
courses and advice on what jobs are on offer across the local area.

As one of the UK’s top apprenticeship and skills providers, ILE works with thousands
of adults every year. These experiences have been used to design a new support
package that helps individuals get back into work.

The personalised Redundancy Support package has been specifically designed to
respond to some of the key challenges job-seekers face today. Whether that’s
learning how to present themselves well via video conferencing technology through
to understanding what jobs are available.

The package gives people a boost to their skills, helps individuals to develop new job
search strategies, supports individuals to identify transferable skills as well as giving
local people the opportunity to gain a range of qualifications. All of the training and
support can be delivered online and remotely with Trainer led activities and sessions.
More information about the programme and how to access support can be found
through ILE’s website:

ILE is also responding to the Chancellor of the Exchequer’s Summer Economic
Update and the new “Plan for Jobs” with a range of new apprenticeship programmes
local people.

Employers in England taking on new apprentices will now be due a payment of
£3,000 for each new apprentice they hire aged 16-18, £2,000 for new apprentice
starts aged 19-24 and a £1,500 payment for each new apprentice they hire aged 25
and over.

ILE works with hundreds of employers and has a constant pool of apprenticeship
vacancies ready for the right candidate.

So whether you’re looking to be an apprentice, or an employer thinking about taking
on an apprentice, Ofsted Grade 2 rated ILE has everything you need. Take a look at
the website for more details:
