Existential Education is a pilot scheme in Sheffield for GCSE Maths learning without teachers or classrooms as all of the required materials are on laptops. If effort and talent is demonstrated by learners, Existential Education claims to fund their exam.
Eligibility criteria
- Must be a resident in and around the Sheffield area in receipt of JSA or Universal Credit
- Must not currently have a GCSE Maths qualification at grade C/4 or above
- Must be aged 24-40 unless on JSA or Universal Credit
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of registration.
