Understanding Neurodiversity Certificates Coming Soon!

IEP are delighted to announce that we will soon be issuing certificates to all of our learners who have completed our Understanding Neurodiversity Accredited Learning programme.

This bespoke training module has been developed in association with our expert partners, Genius Within, a social enterprise established in 2011 to help people with neurodiversity to fulfil their potential in employment and their careers. Genius Within won the 2022 Queen’s Award for Enterprise and are a neurodivergent led and owned business who have made it their life’s work to help neurodistinct individuals access their inner genius and be at their best at work.

Scott Parkin FIEP, Chief Executive of IEP said; “We are about to hit the amazing milestone of 1700 learners who have now completed this specialist learning and are delighted to be able to issue these certificates to enable those practitioners to evidence their competencies and understanding of the concept of neurodiversity and how they are better equipped to support neurodiverse programme participants on their employment journey.

Neurodiversity creates strengths that can benefit workplaces and communities and supporting neurodiverse people to increase their confidence and employability skills is a crucial part of many practitioners’ roles. We are delighted to be supporting practitioners through this course to develop their understanding and celebrate neurodivergent talents to help neurodiverse people maximise their potential and work to their strengths.”

The course is available to any IEP member currently enrolled on the Level 2 Accredited Sector Induction and is available to access in your IEP Learning Management System account.

The course takes 30-45 minutes (depending on reading speed!) and provides an ideal CPD opportunity for Members wishing to increase their knowledge and learning.
