PET-Xi Training will be hosting a free ten-day training course at Sheffield Futures from Monday 25 April until Friday 6 March.
This programme works with Sheffield-based care leavers aged 19-24 to help develop their digital and personal development skills. Candidates must not currently be in employment, education or training.
PET-Xi Training claims learners will gain essential, transferrable digital skills as well as bespoke and flexible mentoring to support individuals in their personal development.
The ten-day programme provides the opportunity to achieve a Level 2 qualification in User IT Skills as well as receiving 1:1 support from a personal mentor who aims to support learners throughout with:
- Confidence, wellbeing, resilience, motivation, teamwork and communication
- Developing a routine, time and budget management, and journey planning
- Work exploration, CV and application support, preparing for interviews and beyond
- Employer expectations and getting work ready.
